Ginnette is a conceptual artist based in Oslo, born in Cali, Colombia. Formed between Colombia, the US, and Norway, her work moves across mixed media, embroidery, and painting — following the idea rather than the medium.

Her current body of work, Stitched Identities, explores the identities we carry across borders, languages and life stages. Stitching appears throughout as symbol — the thread that connects, breaks, and repairs.

She has been making art since 2013.
